Cost of over-whelming obsessions!

Human being is interesting social animal. We all have fantastic fantasies, projections of our own, narcissistic tendencies that magnify the magnitude of what are capable of doing. You see, we must never overestimate our abilities... It is a such a deadly thing that puts us in deep dungeon. 

Political obsessions are like that. You could anticipate the feeling. You could see the revolution. You could sense millions feeling what you feel about certain ideology and political leader, you see the social footprint in your mind is different than how it exists in reality. Politics is all about art of reading and assessing the situation. 

After the fall of Soviet Union in 1991, even after three decades I still see angry people talking as if socialism is coming to Pakistan, as if capitalism will collapse tomorrow. They have Marxism, theories, mechanics and the most importantly their wishful arrogant delusional thinking that this is definitely happening. Why it won't happen because they have dedicated their whole lives living this lie.

This is the main reason why people commit violence. The religious extremism originated from the idea that I can never be wrong, my ideology is divine ideology, it is wish of supreme force and then you're caught into this great act of converting people to your school of thought. With no better social capital or proper investment in terms of tangible future, you're investing time in seeing the possibilities of delusion into a tangible reality. 

You create a literature for your delusion. Your fascinating tales. You create an audience for that literature. You amuse them.

While you're doing this. You could have achieved so much with this immense amount of time.. You could have started a relationship, work on it, transform that relationship into long term functional relationship, marry and have kids... And be wonderful parent instead.

Because you're constantly obsessed with the idea that doesn't have any utility for you, it us merely an escape... It is your cosmetic mask for who you really are for yourself in your private world while the rest of people don't know you with these things. 

You see we all live certain lies. We carry contradictions. It is extremely essential for all to have these necessary contradictions, otherwise we will loose our balance and be insane instead.
