True meaning of an Academician!

With the emergence of scientific discourse after the Enlightenment in Europe, education drastically changed, which required a new set of skills. Teaching and learning natural and social science became essential to survive in 21st century. The reason for reliance on science is simple, it provides tangible solutions of our every day problems. 

The scientific truth is the truth of our time. You cannot refute it by control and domination or for the compulsions of power dynamics.

The educators of 21st century need  certain mindset and temperament, it cannot be operated by micromanagement  This discourse need to be publicly discussed in mainstream, this experimentation takes place. This is not the business of one individual but it has to be done in teams, by brainstorming, by colloborations and by the process of sharing your curiosities and imaginations. 

The true academician is humble and open-minded enough to appreciate and facilitate others. Education is the trial of one who is teaching. Research is the by-production of this process to achieve the tiny truths of our times.

Anyone who shows hesitation in this process is not an academician. Education is looking at bigger picture from a small hole. If you cannot see the stars in sky clearly, then don't restrict those who can. If you have narrow vision then don't impose you limited world view on those who can dream and rationalize difficult questions. 

Academic culture has to be culture o tolerance and accepting each other's world and view by logically and critically questioning it. We need to talk about this weak need review our certain behaviours of moral policing competent adults. The world we doesn't operate on anyone wishes but on scientific laws. Appreciate openness, encourage research and encourage social and natural sciences, so we don't produce zombies in work places. We already have many who have radicalized the entire society!
