The Price of being Genius!
All the great minds have paid the price of their thoughts and ideas throughout the history. People have been obsessed with the charming ideas that amuse them for the rest of their lives, and they lose the track of time and space.
The very first symptom is the misfit in the society. They are no longer functional individuals as the society expects to be, they have this weird disposition and strange, odd behavior that sets them apart from the rest of the crowd. This urge to assert themselves, this extraordinary individual expression sets the tone of their worldview and orientation. They begin to see everything associated with their own shadows of delusions. There is the utility of delusion and that is that it gives birth to the new raw ideas, the anatomy of idea is it has really to be false with all its definition in the beginig to be true and universal for everyone else. This is the quest of the extraordinary minds, at the very young age, they are carried away by the magnificient delusion that literally destroy them cognitively, they cannot rationalize it, but they know it is true for them, they begin to create the world of ideas around that vision. After all, there is very thin line between a visionary and absurd person.
The urge to follow the vision and the impatience to see that happen into a tangible reality causes lot of restlessness. It further disrupts the orientation, it further feeds the ego and delusion, this obsessive disease of proving something to be true without any possible justification, evidence or even a considerable proposition makes it even more absurd.
Then there is this narcissism, the ability to magnify oneself uselessly, with self-praise, requiring attention, spotlight and the urge to broadcast the ideas in the search of audience who would someday agree with the absurd idea, buy it, and be obsessed with it. So, this is the exercise of making an idea contagious among the masses at very large scale, this requires lot of courage, grace and boldness. It requires authenticity, vulnerability and honesty of thought and expression.
It is like burning yourself with the idea and spreading the fire in the forest. You suffer a lot as the career of that vision, it will not let you sleep, it will make you lose your mental balance, it will cause you anxiety and urges, but you are certain that it will come true, you can feel it, you can sense it, and all your intelligence tells you that you are not wrong about this. When you explain the idea to someone, the first reaction is very brutal, they dismiss the idea by questioning your mental state, it is not qualified thought to be considered as 'normal' thought. All the radical thinkers have faced this dilemma...and they were infect killed because of their radical thoughts. You not only suffer in real terms, from the people, from society and from the political authorities, but you also suffer psychologically, because you cannot contain the idea into your mind.
It causes chirping in the mind, the psychologists call it hallucinations and illusion, the idea will come to you in the form of 'voices in your head'. It almost feels like a divine thing. it takes a while to live with such voices in the head.
This is what the creative process looks like. It is nasty, it will blow your mind, the great ideas do not come smoothly, they will disrupt your balance. They will cause crisis and chaos in you. It will take years and decades to settle that crisis. I am sure lot has been written on such themes, all the madman's thoughts become the expression of art and masterpieces. The wait doesn't go, the wait of transform that thought into a tangible reality, into perfection, into an entity that transcend the time and could exist in eternity. It requires lot of mindfulness, thousands of hours of introspection, hundreds of sleepless nights, gazing into stars and moon, and then you are equipped with a certain language to give expression to your idea.
And when such ideas ultimately become a reality, they create political turmoil, they disrupt the systems, existing power structures, they change the culture, they give new meaning to the language, they give new interpretations and ideologies to humankind, and then, there are millions of followers of that ideas, who preach the same idea, now it is their ideology, motto of life, and important aspect of their social reality, it will exists in the minds of millions now. It will be the part of vocabulary now. The person who transformed the idea into eternity will be immortal, that is true price of being a genius !
